I was born in Afghanistan, where I helped my family run a grocery store. In 2005, we opened a restaurant, and in 2009 I started a coffee shop and kitchen inside FOB Bostick. From 2010 to June 10, 2014, I helped the U.S. forces in Afghanistan in different capacities.
On June 25, 2014, we moved to the United States for safety and a better future. Starting from zero, I worked in warehouses and volunteered, always dreaming of my own restaurant again.
During the pandemic, I supplied rice to Afghan Kabob, which led to a life-changing opportunity. With dedication, I became a partner and then the sole owner.
Today, Afghan Kabob Palace is my way of sharing Afghan food and hospitality with the community.
At Afghan Kabob Palace, every dish tells a story of home, tradition, and the love we share through food.
